Brad has served as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church Moody since December 2010 and is a native of Moody, Alabama.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), graduating with a degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. He went on to earn his Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary.

Brad has been married to his wife, Beth, since June 1996. Together, they have two daughters, Meagan and Abby, and one grandson, whom Brad absolutely adores.

Brad is passionate about serving the Lord, preaching and teaching God’s Word, and helping people grow in their relationship with Christ.

Noah recently graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Civil Engineering and currently works at Brasfield & Gorrie. Originally from Clinton, Mississippi, Noah brings a strong foundation of faith, biblical knowledge, and leadership to his role in ministry.

Noah met his wife, Rachel, while they were in high school, and they were married in June 2023. Together, they are committed to serving the Lord and investing in the lives of students.

Although Noah is newer to vocational ministry, he has demonstrated a strong understanding of Scripture, a heart for students, and excellent leadership abilities. We are excited to have Noah serve as our Bi-Vocational Student Pastor and look forward to the ways God will use him to reach, disciple, and encourage the students of First Baptist Church Moody.

Jonathan has served as the Bi-Vocational Worship Leader at First Baptist Church Moody since March 2015. He holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), an M.S. in Experimental Psychology from Jacksonville State University (JSU), and both an M.S. and Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama. He completed his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama in Spring 2023.

Jonathan has been an educator at Moody High School since 2012, where he continues to serve students and his community.

Jonathan and his wife, Megan, have been married since June 2013 and have two children, Holland and Sloane. Jonathan is passionate about leading the church in worship and using his gifts to glorify God and help others draw closer to Christ.

Jeff is the founder and president of Extreme Ministries and served as a full-time youth pastor for more than 20 years. In addition to his work with Extreme Ministries, Jeff serves as a pastor to pastors and a missionary to the United States, encouraging pastors and churches while sharing the Gospel and helping people discover God’s purpose for their lives.

Jeff was saved on his wedding day in 1984, and he and his wife, Tammy, have been married for 39 years. Together, they have three married children and 11 amazing grandchildren.

Jeff is passionate about serving the Lord in every area of his life. His desire is to lead people to Christ, encourage them in their faith, and help them discover and live out the purpose God has for their lives.

Michaela has served as the Children’s Director at First Baptist Church Moody since 2019 and has been serving in the Children’s Department since 2012. She has a passion for investing in the lives of children and helping them develop a strong foundation of faith in Jesus Christ.

Michaela has been married to her husband, Heath, since 2004, and together they have three sons, Austin, Sawyer, and Mason.

She is currently pursuing a degree in Christian Counseling from Liberty University, with the goal of opening her own counseling practice one day. Michaela desires to use her gifts and experiences to serve the Lord, encourage families, and help others grow in their faith and walk with Christ.

Leah began serving as the Church Secretary at First Baptist Church Moody in September 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Jacksonville State University and spent 20 years teaching second grade before joining the FBC Moody staff.

Leah married her husband, Mike, in 1997, and together they have two children, Jaiden and Micaiah. She is also a new grandmother to two precious granddaughters, who bring her great joy and keep her busy spending as much time with them as possible.

When she’s not serving at the church or enjoying time with her family, you may find Leah browsing a thrift store for a good find. She loves bringing her treasures home and using them to decorate her house.

Although Leah attends FBC Leeds, she considers it a privilege to serve the Lord through her work at FBC Moody and is grateful for the opportunity to serve this “second” church family that she loves. 

Summer has served as the Financial Secretary at First Baptist Church Moody since July 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, both from Jacksonville State University.
Summer has been married to her husband, Jason, since 1999, and together they have one son, Brighton.

Summer attends Crosspoint Church, but is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord through her work at FBC Moody and is dedicated to faithfully serving the church and its congregation.

Johnnie has served as the Facilities Manager at First Baptist Church Moody since 2016. He works hard to keep our campus running smoothly, well-maintained, and looking its best. He is always willing to lend a helping hand and serves our church family with a servant’s heart.

Johnnie has been married to his wife, Michele, since 2021. On Sunday mornings, you’ll often find Johnnie alongside Bro. Louia, welcoming guests as they arrive and helping make everyone feel at home.

Johnnie is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord and our church family in so many ways, both behind the scenes and at the front doors.
